Ethan Brown - Business Instructor

My name is Ethan Brown.  I am beginning year number 3 as a Business Education Teacher at FDJTC.  I am most passionate about equipping students with real-world business and financial skills that allow them to succeed in everyday life.

I enjoy working out at the gym, watching sports, and walking/hiking.

A fun fact about me is that I was a Pelican's Snoball franchise owner for 5 years.

Angie Covington - Engineering Instructor

My name is Angie Covington. I am beginning year number 8 as an Engineering Teacher at FDJTC and year 20 as a teacher, 17 of which are with YSD1. I am most passionate about ensuring that my students are prepared for their next adventure after high school.

I enjoy running, being a chicken farmer, and owning my own design business.  

A fun fact about me is that I lived in Germany for 6 years!

Jason Currence - Automotive Instructor

My name is Jason Currence. I am beginning year number 22 as an Automotive teacher at FDJTC. I am most passionate about teaching students life skills that will help them be successful in whatever career they choose.

I enjoy playing golf, hunting, and fishing.

A fun fact about me is that I put on professional fireworks shows in my spare time.

Nickie Daves - Health Science Instructor

My name is Nickie Daves.  I am beginning year number 11 as one of our Health Science teachers at FDJTC.  I am most passionate about preparing our students for a future career in healthcare.

I enjoy being with my family, gardening, and traveling.

A fun fact about me is that I am a Registered Nurse.

Eryn Davis - Culinary Arts Instructor

My name is Eryn Davis.  I am beginning year number three as a culinary arts teacher at FDJTC.  I am most passionate about preparing students to be industry ready by teaching them with the technical skills, professional habits, collaborative mindset employers value. There is nothing more rewarding than watching students gain the confidence to walk into a workplace and know they are ready to contribute from day one.

I enjoy cooking, reading, and gardening.

A fun fact about me is that I've had the opportunity to prepare meals for celebrities, NFL players, and NBA athletes.

Leslie Davis - Business Instructor

My name is Les Davis. I am beginning year 3 as a Business Teacher at FDJTC. I am most passionate about helping students realize their full potential.

I enjoy golf, spending time with family, and serving in the ministry.

A fun fact about me is that I was ordained by Queen Elizabeth to be a marriage officer.

Mitchell Galloway - Business Instructor

My name is Mitchell Galloway. I am beginning year number 6 as a Business teacher at FDJTC. I am most passionate about inspiring the young minds and committed to providing an engaging and supportive learning environment to all pupils on each spectrum of the learning curve.

I enjoy working puzzles, watching movies with my wife, and cooking on my grill.

A fun fact about me is that I played in the NFL for the Buffalo Bills.

Fallon Gaston - Cosmetology Instructor

My name is Fallon Gaston. I am beginning year 4 as the Cosmetology Teacher at FDJTC. I am most passionate about seeing my students find success in Cosmetology and in life.

I enjoy shopping, thrifting, and hanging out with my family.

Katherine Greenway - Agriculture Instructor

My name is Katherine Greenway. I am beginning my 5th year as an Agriculture Teacher and FFA Advisor at FDJTC. I am most passionate about helping students become leaders, and teaching them to advocate for the industry that feeds the world.

I enjoy chasing after my two year old son, Gus, fishing, and tending to my animals.

Donald Hamrick - Utility Line Worker Instructor

My name is Don Hamrick.  I am beginning year 8 as the Utility Line Worker Instructor here at FDJTC. 

Matt Johnson - EMS Instructor

My name is Matt Johnson. I am beginning year number 2 as a EMS teacher at FDJTC. I am most passionate about sharing my love for emergency medicine in the pre-hospital setting.

I enjoy Cabinet/Furniture making, sailing, and making pizza.

A fun fact about me is that I spent 4 years as a semi-pro bull rider in the Southeast Region.

Michael Laws - Firefighting Instructor

My name is Michael Laws.  I am beginning year 10 as the Fire Instructor at FDJTC.  This career path is focused on achieving academic success, work-based success, and job placement.  There is nothing more rewarding than watching a young firefighter begin their career in the fire service.

I enjoy working on cars and playing the drums.

A fun fact about me is that my nickname in the fire service is Bulldog!

Jennifer Moore - Family & Consumer Sciences Instructor

My name is Jennifer Moore and I am beginning my first year at FDJ and my 19^th year as a Family & Consumer Science Teacher. I am most passionate about helping students develop practical life skills they can use beyond the classroom.

I am a certified Microlocs stylist, and I enjoy trying Tik-Tok recipes, shopping, and traveling.

A fun fact about me is that skydiving is on my bucket list.

John Moore -ROTC Instructor

My name is John Moore. I am beginning year number 3 as a teacher at FDJTC. I am passionate about getting the kids outside the classroom to experience new things and learning about teamwork and leadership.

I enjoy marksmanship, orienteering, and real estate.

A fun fact about me is that I used to make pottery, and still do occasionally.

Catherine Rodden - Health Science Instructor

My name is Catherine Rodden and I am beginning year number 3 as one of the Health Science Teachers at FDJTC. I am most passionate about watching our students become certified professionals at the end of the program.

I enjoy spending time with family, traveling to new places, and spending time at the beach.

A fun fact about me is that as a graduate of YCHS, I was an Agriculture completer and I taught the welding section of the program to my fellow classmates.

Rickey Rollins - Business Instructor

My name is Rickey Rollins. I am beginning year 5 as a Computer Science Instructor at FDJTC. I am most passionate about helping students grasp a concept they had minimal knowledge about and then ultimately excelling at it.

I enjoy spending time with family, educating myself on new topics, and video editing.

A fun fact about me is that I was an active gymnast for several years and then transitioned to street tumbling.

Stephen Shepard - ROTC Instructor

I enjoy playing golf and hiking with my dog, Porter.

Amanda Stallings - Intro To Teaching Instructor

My name is Mandy Stallings. I am beginning my 24th year in education and my 6th year at FDJTC. I love being able to shape the next generation of educators.

My name is Ashley Stowe. I am beginning year 10 as the Information Technology Teacher at FDJTC. I am most passionate about connecting with my students as they learn.

I enjoy flower gardening, travel, being a parent to my two busy boys (ages 11 and 13), and napping on my days off.

Josh Williams - Agriculture Instructor

My name is Josh Williams.  I am beginning year number 11 as an Agriculture teacher at FDJTC.  I have 25 years total in Education.  I am most passionate about providing students with the skills to be successful in their careers and more importantly, life!

Daniel Zmroczek - Culinary Arts Instructor

My name is Daniel “Chef Z” Zmroczek. I am beginning year 6 as a Culinary Arts Instructor at FDJ. I am most passionate about training the next generation of chefs by helping students develop the skills, confidence, and professionalism they need to succeed in the culinary industry.

I enjoy cooking and creating new recipes, photography, and grilling and smoking BBQ.

A fun fact about me is that I have 10 grandchildren!
