Agriculture

Agriculture is comprised of four classes. This course teaches students about the culture of plants used for ornamental or aesthetic purposes. Students in this program have the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities such as landscaping, woodworking, metal working, animals, plumbing, electrical, hunting safety, tractor safety, equipment operation and maintenance, forestry, and entomology. Throughout the duration of this program students have the opportunity to complete multiple certifications and be involved with Future Farmers of America (FFA). FFA allows students to compete in numerous competitions at the state and national levels.
